36 years teaching English literature in Corpus Christi
- 🇺🇸 Corpus Christi, Texas, United States

For 16 years I have been the English literature teacher at Corpus Christi Secondary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Herrera: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
