I teach art at Los Angeles Middle School in Los Angeles since 1991. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I play music while people worked.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Herrera
If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
