Mr. Herrera
Teacher at Eastgate High School, loves biology
- 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
- Eastgate High School
- Since 1978
- English
For 48 years I have been the biology teacher at Eastgate High School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Herrera
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Herrera: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

I was in your teenagers class in 1999. You believed I could do it before I did! Truly.
