Mr. Herrera
Retired special education teacher from Sacramento Technical College
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Sacramento Technical College
- 2006 to 2015
- English
Sacramento Technical College was my second home. I taught special education there from 2006 to 2015, mostly Year 7.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Herrera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Herrera: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2009. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Mumbai.
