I taught home economics at Summit Middle School in Nottingham from 1979 to 2004. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
