For 42 years I have been the early years teacher at Birmingham Secondary School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Haynes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
