Mr. Haynes
Environmental science and religious studies teacher, Surrey
- 🇨🇦 Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
- Surrey High School
- 2008 to 2025
- English, French
For 17 years I was the environmental science teacher at Surrey High School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Haynes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
