Mr. Hawkins
22 years teaching art in Savannah
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- Meadowbank Girls' School
- Since 2012
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
More about Mr. Hawkins
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hawkins: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
