I taught history at Good Shepherd Secondary School in Newcastle upon Tyne from 2000 to 2021. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember that terrible school play.
