I taught history at Lakeview Primary School in Dhaka from 1981 to 1997. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Mr. Haque
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Haque: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
