For 23 years I have been the special education teacher at Queensway Technical College. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hansen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 2008. You believed I could do it before I did.
