I taught physics at San Diego High School in San Diego from 1995 to 2018. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Hamilton
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hamilton: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
