Mr. Hakim
29 years teaching economics in Bogor
- 🇮🇩 Bogor, West Java, Indonesia
- Mount Pleasant High School
- Since 1989
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,850 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hakim: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me economics in 2003 at Mount Pleasant High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on!
