Mr. Hailemariam
Special education and computer science teacher, Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
More about Mr. Hailemariam
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hailemariam: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me special education in 2017 at Mekelle High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
