I taught early years at Hawassa Girls' School in Hawassa from 1996 to 2010. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 450 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
