For 17 years I was the physics teacher at Lansing Girls' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
