For twelve years I was the physical education teacher at Holy Cross Public School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Mr. Guzmán
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Guzmán: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
