I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Gutiérrez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your primary school children class in 1988. You believed I could do it before I did!
