Mr. Gunawardena
Early years and special education teacher, Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Negombo Middle School
- Since 2016
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Mr. Gunawardena
If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gunawardena: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
