Mr. Gunawan
Art and social studies teacher, Medan
- 🇮🇩 Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia
- Since 2012
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2015. I remember you. Greetings from Nashik.

you taught me art in 2017 at Medan Grammar School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Thank you again.
