Mr. Guimarães
Mathematics and English literature teacher, Porto Alegre
- 🇧🇷 Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
- Bayview High School
- Since 2009
- English
I teach mathematics and English literature at Bayview High School, Porto Alegre. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Guimarães
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Guimarães: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
