Mr. Gounder
38 years teaching special education in Tiruchirappalli
- 🇮🇳 Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India
- Tiruchirappalli Girls' School
- 1993 to 2005
- English
I taught special education at Tiruchirappalli Girls' School in Tiruchirappalli from 1993 to 2005. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Gounder
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gounder: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

Thank you for never giving up on the kid at the back who didn't say much! Greetings from Iztapalapa.
