I taught English literature and drama at Kingsway Primary School, Ribeirão Preto. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
