I taught accounting at Kilimanjaro Primary School in São Paulo from 1989 to 2001. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Gonçalves
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I'm a police officer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Malmö.
