Mr. Gomez
Home economics and music teacher, Newcastle
- 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
- Newcastle Middle School
- Since 2010
- English, French
For 16 years I have been the home economics teacher at Newcastle Middle School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Gomez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
