I teach home economics at Phoenix Primary School in Niterói since 1978. Most days I teach primary school children, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 2,540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gomes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
