Mr. Githinji
Teacher at Nairobi Middle School, loves history
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Middle School
- Since 1981
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Mr. Githinji
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Githinji: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
