Mr. Githinji

Art and geography teacher, Kinondoni

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kinondoni Girls' School
  • 2008 to 2018
  • English
I taught art at Kinondoni Girls' School in Kinondoni from 2008 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mr. Githinji

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Githinji: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
