Mr. Gill
Taught home economics at Orchid Public School
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Orchid Public School
- 1979 to 2012
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Gill
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gill: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
