Mr. Gilbert
Retired history teacher from Beacon Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Salem, Oregon, United States
- Beacon Secondary School
- 1982 to 1995
- English
I taught history at Beacon Secondary School in Salem from 1982 to 1995. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.

My kids ask me about my favorite teacher, and it's always you! Greetings from Girona.

You taught me history in 1997 at Beacon Secondary School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
