Mr. Getu
Taught French at Unity Technical College
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- 1995 to 2019
- English
I taught French at Unity Technical College in Jimma from 1995 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 1,150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Getu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Getu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
