Mr. George
English literature and geography teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Public School
- 1985 to 1999
- English
I taught English literature at Los Angeles Public School in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1999. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. George
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. George: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
