I taught music at Bahir Dar Primary School in Bahir Dar from 2001 to 2009. Most days I taught Year 10, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gebre: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
