Mr. Gebre
17 years teaching accounting in Hawassa
- 🇪🇹 Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia
- Hawassa Grammar School
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Amharic
I taught accounting at Hawassa Grammar School in Hawassa from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Gebre
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me accounting in 2017 at Hawassa Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
