Mr. Gebre
29 years teaching music in Bahir Dar
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Sakura Public School
- 2010 to 2020
- English, Amharic
For ten years I was the music teacher at Sakura Public School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Gebre
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Gebre: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me music in 2016 at Sakura Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
