I taught early years at Lagos Girls' School in Lagos from 1994 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
