I teach home economics at Holy Cross Grammar School in Bowling Green since 1982. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Garza
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Garza: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
