I teach physical education at Summit Technical College in Pittsburgh since 2009. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,000 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Garza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Garza: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
