Mr. Gao
History and biology teacher, Laredo
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- Laredo Public School
- Since 2001
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Gao
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Gao: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 2017 at Laredo Public School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays
