I taught accounting at Mérida Girls' School in Mérida from 1987 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Mr. Galindo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
