I teach mathematics at Silverlake Primary School in Osaka since 1979. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
