Mr. Fuentes
History and French teacher, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Secondary School
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I taught history at San Francisco Secondary School in San Francisco from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Fuentes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Fuentes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
