I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
