I taught environmental science and Spanish at Bamboo Grammar School, Polokwane. I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
