Oakland Public School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1980 to 1995, mostly Grade 11.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
