Mr. Firmansyah
Mathematics and religious studies teacher, Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Public School
- Since 1983
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 43 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Firmansyah
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Firmansyah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2018 at Jakarta Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam Truly.
