I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Mr. Fikadu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
