I taught mathematics at Westbrook High School in Addis Ababa from 2004 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Fikadu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
