Mr. Figueroa
Geography and chemistry teacher, Derry
- š¬š§ Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Summit Middle School
- 1990 to 2000

I taught geography at Summit Middle School in Derry from 1990 to 2000. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Figueroa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Figueroa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2004 at Summit Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
