I taught environmental science and design and technology at Harbor Public School, Juiz de Fora. I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Figueiredo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Figueiredo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
